BRIGHAM CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - While police wait for a final confirmation that a body found Friday is Jenny Atkinson, her parents say they know it is.

The body was found a distance from the car of Jennifer Atkinson on Friday. People camping near Dock Flat campground had seen the car twice in two weeks and recognized it from a flyer they had seen in town. When police went to the campground to look around they found the female body.

Jenny's mother Penny Atkinson told ABC4, "We know it's jenny. Her car would not be up there if she was not up there."

Jenny's family has been looking for her, for nearly a month. She dropped off her son at a friend's house on July 17th and disappeared. There had been no sign of her, until Friday when her car was found.

Where the car was found is surprising to Jenny's mother. Jenny had cerebral palsy and walked with a cane, it was very hard for her to get around.

Penny Atkinson said, "She told me years ago she was scared to drive that road and she would never go to Docks Flat without somebody taking her up there."

Jenny's parents believe this is no accident, they believe someone took her to the campground and left her there.

Penny Atkinson said, "This was not an accident in my heart or my mind, someone knows something."
