SYRACUSE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Instead of an unwanted guest, Syracuse police found multiple small packages of meth when responding to a call Wednesday.
Lt. Tracy Jensen with Syracuse Police says officers were dispatched about an unwanted guest when they found drugs in plain view. After acquiring a search warrant, officers found even more drugs at the location.
Officials say meth was packaged in small containers and wasn't meant for just one person.
Children were outside the home waiting for their grandparents to pick them up at the time of the incident.
Dannielle Ann Thompson, 23, was booked into Davis County Jail on one count of child endangerment and one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Police are waiting for the Davis County Attorney's Office to review the case before filing formal charges.
A second woman, whose name is not being released yet, could also be charged following an investigation said Jensen
