TOOELE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A mobile home fire in Tooele has displaced several people, according to the American Red Cross.

Just after 12 p.m. on Sunday, a fire destroyed two trailers in White's Mobile Home Park in in Tooele. Another trailer was severely damaged. In all 11 people have been displaced.

“I came outside and looked out and I saw flames just shooting up into the sky,” said Holly Davis who lives nearby.

D Stevens also saw the flames and ran to alert the families still inside who didn’t know their homes were on fire. He said getting everyone out was personal for him.

“I lost my brother to a fire,” said Stevens “My main worry was the kids. I was just trying to make sure the kids were safe.”

Although the cause is still under investigation, authorities are looking into reports that kids playing with matches in a nearby shed may have started the fire.

The Red Cross is assisting the families with a place to stay, food and clothes.
