Missing hiker found safe in Little Cottonwood Canyon

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A woman who had been missing since Tuesday was found safe in Little Cottonwood Canyon on Wednesday.

Okman Shim Han was last seen Tuesday afternoon when she was with a group hiking along the White Pine trailhead.

Shim's friends told authorities they last saw her near the Red Pine Bridge, but she did not make it back to the parking lot.

After calling off the search Tuesday night due to darkness, searchers resumed looking for the 55-year-old Shim early Wednesday morning, and located her at around noon.
