SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) Utah Transit Authority police officers say they found 22-year-old Angel Brooke McKinnley Tuesday morning. A missing person alert for a disabled adult had been announced for the 22-year old woman with autism Monday afternoon.

UTA officials say Officer Frieda Smith found McKinnley at the Old Greek Town TRAX station. Provo City Police Department issued the alert Monday. UTA transit officers are actively working with other law enforcement agencies to get McKinnley back home. She was found with a minor injury to her foot, and she is being treated at a local hospital.

Police say McKinnley walked away from her home around 10:00 Sunday night. She was last seen at about 5:30 Monday morning at 1600 West Center Street in Provo. Police say McKinnley has the mental capacity of a five year old, and has severe autism.
