MIDVALE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A Midvale neighborhood woke up to a mini old faithful in their front yard. A water main broke, sending water gushing from the ground creating mess and some damage.

Shelly Sturm woke up to rocks hitting the front window of her home. When she looked outside she saw the geyser of water.

There was not much damage to Shelly's home, until the water broke the window of a window well.

Sturm said, "The window busted out and I walk in. There's mattress floating and three inches of water, it was horrible."

There was glass everywhere, inches of water soaking into the carpet and plenty of leaves covering the carpet.

Midvale Public Works has cleaned up the situation and fixed the water main.
