OREM, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police are looking for someone who shot an Orem man to death Sunday afternoon.
Police found the body at 433 South and 360 West and have identified him as 51-year-old Marvin Sidwell. He was found with a gun shot wound to his body.
Police say the man lived with his mother who was upstairs when the shooting occurred.
Police are questioning Sidwell’s 54-year-old brother in law who they say called 911.
“What we found was a person with a weapon. We'll be talking to him about what happened,” said Craig Martinez of the Orem Police Department.
Police say the gun belonged to the brother in law, who they are calling a person of interest, not a suspect.
Police say there were no other witnesses.
