Man in wheelchair killed by hit-and-run driver

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A man in a wheelchair is dead after being hit by a car near 700 East and 3000 South.
Police tell ABC 4 News the driver of the car left the crash but returned a short time later.
Officers say the crash was so bad that the wheelchair was smashed to bits.
Police are interviewing the driver to determine what happened.
