Cedar City, Utah (ABC 4 News)- Trevor Wooldridge, a 21 year old man from Iron County was arrested on several felony charges after police say he attempted to trade prescription pills for sex.
According to the Cedar City Police department Mr. Wooldridge had been text messaging an undercover detective who was posing as a seventeen year old female.
A meeting was set between Mr. Wooldridge and the detectives. Wooldridge came in and was arrested for enticing a minor over an electronic device. Once in custody he was found in possession of the prescription pills which police tell ABC 4 had been promised in exchange for sex.
Officer searched his phone once detained. On the phone detectives say they found several pictures believed to be child pornography.
Mr. wooldridge has been booked into the Iron County Correctional Facility on 9 felony charges including 6 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, distribution of prescription drugs, patronizing a prostitute and 2 other misdemeanor charges. A judge has set his bail at $80,000.
