SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The spirit of giving came alive for one little boy with a life-threatening heart condition. On Sunday, Santa, with the help of the Utah Make-A-Wish Foundation granted Parker Allen’s one wish.

The Herriman boy may only be six years old, but he has already been through a lot in his life.

“He was born with half a heart and he went into heart failure, got sick, suffered a stroke and then he got a heart transplant after about living in the hospital for about seven months,” said his mom Sheila Allen.

Unfortunately the hard times didn't end there. Parker experienced a serious rejection of the transplant and that's when the family became involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Parker knew exactly what he wanted for his one wish: to meet with WWE wrestler John Cina.
“He's wanted to meet John Cina for a year and a half,” said his mom. “He loves John Cina, he's all about him.”

On Sunday at a private event at Hogle Zoo, Santa surprised Parker with some exciting news.
“Let me tell you this, I have spoken with John and he has told me to tell you that your wish is going to be granted,” Santa told Parker.

Macy's Believe Campaign helped make Parker's wish come true. As part of the campaign, people can write a letter to Santa and drop it off at any Macy's location. The department store will donate a dollar a letter, up to a million dollars, to Make-A-Wish.
