LOGAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) – The City of Logan is asking residents to leave water running to prevent pipes from freezing.
Freezing pipes has been a big problem for the community this winter. City officials have already taken calls for 150 frozen lines.
“Usually in a normal year we get maybe one or two freeze ups, “ said Michael Roundy, Logan's waste and water division. A long stretch of below freezing temperatures is to blame.
Roundy said residents should run a stream of water the width of a pencil. More information on how to keep your pipes from freezing, click here.
