Lewdness suspect arrested in Orem

OREM, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police in Orem say they have arrested a man who exposed himself to young girls. Investigators think he may be responsible for other lewd acts.

21-year-old Ji Wang was arrested on Thursday and charged with two counts of Lewdness, a class B misdemeanor.

On the 12th of November 2009, Provo Police stopped and cited Ji Wang for Lewdness. Orem Detectives received Ji’s description from Provo Police and believed that he was the suspect in several Orem cases.

Ji was interviewed and arrested on two counts of Lewdness in Orem. Police say one case involved Wang exposing himself to three 12-year-old girls as they walked home. The other case involved an alleged incident where police say Wang exposed himself to passing traffic while he walked on State Street.

Orem Detectives think there may be other victims that Ji Wang may have exposed himself to.

Police ask that anyone with information on Wang to call them.
