My husband and I went to see this movie Saturday night. During the birthing scene my husband felt sick and could not breathe. We left the movie theatre. When we got outside he felt so faint that he blacked out for a few seconds. I called 911, and then he ended up being fine and didnt need to go. Today I made him go to a cardiologist to get his heart tested because I thought he was having a heart attack. My mom ran upon this article now I feel a little better. This is crazy. The movie is good, but so intense that it gets the viewer feeling as if they are really there.

My 12 year old son also passed out and had a series of jerking seizure spasms during the birth scene during the opening midnight show. We see the neurologist this week.

I had a seizure during the same scene, went unconscious and spent 6 days in the hospital. There should definitely be some kind of warning. I have never had any seizure activity before, and am an RN whose daughter (also an RN) observed the seizure. This is no joke.

Well I'm glad to hear that I didn't just faint. I have seen way grosser things in real life and not had a problem. I don't even remember the scene but when I came to my freinds were looking at me and asking me if I was alright.I stupidly drove myself home while pulling over to get sick and blacking out again. I was too embaressed to tell the doctor the next day what movie I was at.Now I maybe they will listen to me, I knew I didn't just faint.Isn't there restrictions on the flashing in movies on how much and how fast it goes to help prevent this?

My husband got sick like he was going to pass out! He has to sit with his eyes closed during the bloody part. He thought it was because there was so much blood.

This film is causing seizures. Period. I am the First Aid Attendant and Projectionist at my local theatre. Before Breaking Dawn, we had not had a seizure or loss of consciousness in our theatre in the last year Ive been there. We have shown Breaking Dawn on 3 screens, twice a night since friday the 18th. In that one week timeframe, 3 people have had seizures during the birthing scene, and 4 have collapsed making their way to the exits after feeling lightheaded. My employers are working on a warning to play before the film, as they have had 800+ incidents of this across Canada.

On Sunday, I took my 9-year old daughter and 10 -year old step-daughter along with my nephew and sister, to Twilight Breaking Dawn, at the theater at Thanksgiving Point. During the part where the baby is born and Bella suddenly dies, my daughter stood up and with a shortness of breath told me she had to use the bathroom. I then began to escort her out of the theater but she collapsed on the stairs. I picked her up and continued to take her out, but she did it about two more times. I took her out to the hallway where I sat her up against the wall. When she came to enough, she became sick and had to vomit. I gave her some water and she started getting better. However, for most of the day she had a headache, due to what I believe, from her passing out from the blood, death and serious of the situation in the movie. I was hesitant at first on letting them go since I had seen it a few days prior, but I thought she would be okay. In the end she was too young to go and I should have made a better judgement.

My boyfriend (in Roseville, CA) had a seizure during that scene also. No previous epilepsy. Paramedics came to the theater. It was terrifying for me. We are headed to neurology this week. These people are NOT liars.

This also happened to me on Sunday night. I'm perfectly healthy and have never had something like this happen. I completely blacked out during this same scene and was rushed to the hospital. I'm glad to know that I'm not alone.
