AMERICAN FORK, Utah (ABC-4 Sports) - From Bingham High School to Snow College to Utah State to the NFL, Kevin Curtis' rise to stardom has surprised even him.

In 2007, Curtis recorded one of the best seasons for a receiver in Philadelphia Eagles history when he caught 77 passes for 1,110 yards and 8 touchdowns. But during training camp last year, Curtis suffered a sports hernia injury and missed the first six games of the 2008 season. Curtis says he is 100 percent healthy right now, and is eager to help lead the Eagles back to the playoffs.

After setting several school records at Utah State, Curtis was a 3rd round draft pick of the St. Louis Rams in 2003, and parlayed a productive 4-year stay into a 6-year, 32-million dollar deal with the Eagles.

Now that Donovan McNabb is signed, Philadelphia is definitely a Super Bowl favorite this season, and Curtis hopes to be a big part of a deep playoff run. But wherever his NFL travels take him, Curtis says he'll always take pride in being a Utah native who made it big.
