Hoopes Vision has moved into a new facility and it means little or no wait time for patients!  It is a comfortable and relaxed environment that allows doctors to provide the newest procedures and improve outcomes for LASIK and cataract surgery.

Hoopes Vision is also one of the first surgical centers in the world designed specifically for laser assisted cataract surgery.

Help Hoopes celebrate their new location! Come in for a brief tour of the new facility, and Hoopes will give you a certificate for $1000 off LASIK or ICL surgery ($500 off per eye). Military personel, firefighters, police officers, teachers and their spouses receive an additional $100 off per eye (a total of $600 off per eye). This discount can be combined with special financing options or your flex spending account to make vision correction even more affordable. Call today and make a change for the better in 2013 with better vision!

Hoopes Vision has always been guided by one ultimate goal: to offer patients the safest, most effective, cutting-edge vision correction procedures available, in a comfortable, relaxed environment. Everything Hoopes does is driven by that goal.

From their early adoption of such advanced eye surgery technologies as blade-free LASIK, ICL lens implants, and laser cataract surgery; to the massage chairs, fresh-baked cookies, and the beautiful works of art on the walls, it's all designed to provide an eye care experience like no other.

The brand-new facility in Draper is designed from the ground up for ophthalmology, will be one of the best-equipped, most technologically advanced eye surgery centers in the United States, and will provide an improved experience for patients. The on-site, ambulatory surgery center will feature two cataract laser systems: the Optimedica Catalys™ and the Alcon LenSx™− making Hoopes Vision's ambulatory surgery center, EyeSurg of Utah, the only eye surgery center in the world to feature both systems.

The laser suite, where LASIK and PRK procedures take place, will continue to offer more laser vision correction technology than any other facility in Utah, including the Wavelight Allegretto Eye-Q™, Zeiss MEL-80™, and Intralase™ iFS lasers.

Hoopes Vision's new facility will also feature a clinical area dedicated to research. Dr. Hoopes was involved in early trials to help LASIK become approved by the FDA, and research to improve vision correction has remained an important part of his work since. Over the last several years, Hoopes Vision has become increasingly involved in FDA- and manufacturer-run clinical trials of new surgical technologies and procedures, in an effort to help make new and better procedures available to the general public. Under the guidance of Dr. Robert P. Rivera, Director of Clinical Research, the new clinical research area will expand and improve Hoopes Vision's ability to participate in these trials, positioning Hoopes Vision even further as a practice dedicated to representing the absolute cutting edge in vision correction technology.

The clinic area of the new facility will be greatly expanded, with more than twice as many exam rooms as the current Sandy clinic, and an improved layout. This will improve patient flow, leading to shorter wait times and a more pleasant patient experience, and will enable Hoopes Vision's ten doctors to work as efficiently as possible.

One thing that will remain consistent as Hoopes makes the transition to the new facility is the collective experience and expertise of their doctors. The surgical team comprises a combination of skill and experience unparalleled in Utah, including the most experienced LASIK surgeon in Utah, the most experienced ICL lens implant surgeon in the country, and some of the most experienced cataract surgeons in the United States.

The new facility is located at 11820 South State Street in Draper.  (801) 568-0200 or (877) 30-LASIK.  For more information, please visit: http://www.hoopesvision.com.
