Girl ejected during car accident gets back on her feet

RIVERTON, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A girl was thrown through the side window of a car during an accident Tuesday morning. Witnesses say she got right back up and back in the car before help even arrived.

The accident happened at 12600 South 2700 West at 7:20 in the morning. Police say the girls car was t-boned, forcing her to be ejected from the vehicle. Witnesses of the accident said the girl picked herself off the ground and got back into her vehicle showing no loss of consciousness.

Unified Fire says the girl was taken by medical helicopter to Intermountain Medical Hospital for precautionary measures, but is said to be in serious condition, having received some pelvic damage.

The other passenger in the car was deemed unconscious at the scene and was transported to Intermountain Mountain Center as well.

Two other females from the other car are said to be in good condition after being transported to Riverton Hospital.
