Brigham City Peach Days Are Here Again!

Author - Peach 101 - Recipes Your Mother Never Told You About

Ingredients: 

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
¼ cup corn syrup
¼ cup brown sugar
1 can (15 ounces) peach slices, drained
1/2 cup Macadamia nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pour butter into 7X11 rectangular cake pan.
Stir in syrup and brown sugar; blend.
Arrange peach slices in pan. Sprinkle nuts evenly on top of peaches.

Ingredients: Gingerbread

1/3 cup butter
½ cup sugar
1 beaten egg
2/3 cup light molasses
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons ginger
¾ cup milk

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg; beat thoroughly. Add molasses. Beat. Alternately add sifted dry ingredients and milk.
Pour batter over peaches.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until done.
