BOUNTIFUL, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A freak accident takes the life of a Farmington woman. 33-year-old Misty Affleck was visiting a friend on Monarch Drive in Bountiful Monday, and as she was backing down the driveway to leave her car rolled off a 15-foot embankment. Bountiful police say Affleck was ejected from her vehicle and killed when the car landed on top of her.

Affleck's car landed in Scott Rogers' backyard. Rogers said, "She must have been distracted or something. She was just backing up. Instead of going up and turning around she was trying to back down the driveway."

This isn't the first time a car has landed in Rogers' backyard. "The people that built the house just had some kids in their car and they kicked it in neutral and it rolled back right in the corner," said Rogers.

Police are still investigating whether or not Affleck was wearing a seat belt and whether or not the side impact airbags helped force her outside of her vehicle.
