SALT LAKE CITY - (ABC 4 News) - Eve--Salt Lake's three-day New Years celebration began on Saturday and the cold hasn't stopped Utahans from coming out and celebrating the final days of 2012.

With record attendance last year,  organizers decided to make the events bigger, by bringing in nationally known music groups--The Dirty Dozen Brass Band played Saturday night at the Gallivan Center, and a Scavenger hunt for kids at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building was a big hit.
