Crossing guard and student hit near elementary school

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say there was an auto-pedestrian crash with injuries near Rose Park Elementary School Friday morning involving a crossing guard and a student.
Police tell ABC 4 News that one 8-year-old student was transported to the hospital as a precaution but was not seriously hurt.
Police say the crossing guard was hit by the car but sustained no injuries. She was not taken to the hospital.
