AMERICAN FORK, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A crash along an Interstate 15 overpass led to a complicated rescue in American Fork on Monday.

Police say the driver of a Jeep Wrangler lost control and slammed into a semi truck, triggering a chain reaction that left a driver to sitting on top of a concrete wall.

Rescue crews had to use a ladder truck to get the person out.

Workers say this was one of the more problematic rescue efforts they've dealt with.

After the the driver was taken off the bridge, he was flown to a Provo hospital.

Police say charges against the driver of the Jeep Wrangler that started the chain reaction were unknown, pending further investigation.
