Boy identified in suicide near Taylorsville school

Was this bullying by Mormons because he was gay? If in Utah, that is likely enough that the article should answer the question one way or another. If you got your news from KSL or Mormon sources...it is washed clean.

1. Why wasn't he released to an adult who could be responsible for him? 2. That privacy laws prevent the school from releasing information about why he was receiving counseling, wouldn't those same laws prevent release of that service being provided? The only way the school can release such information is if it isn't true or is misleading. His parents have the right to request and receive those counseling files. It's the school that's bound by privacy laws (which they violated by saying he was in counseling for significant issues) ... the parent can share that information on the evening news if they so choose.
