Errata: In my statement below that begins: "In light of LDS sponsorship and considering its possible loss should BSA leaders decide not to allow gays in scouting this coming May,..." in that context the word "not" should have been excluded. I regret the error.

I don't know how McCammon argues contrary to the BSA's own Wiki page, which shows its top corporate sponsors in 2010 were: Intel, Emerson, Verizion, 3M, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Pfizer, Valero, UPS, US Bank, Eli Lilly, GE, and Monsanto, yet in 2012, Intel and UPS cut funding to the BSA, or isn't that "a true statement," either? See: "Finance" and "Corporate Funding" at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boy_Scouts_of_America Even so, conspicuously absent is the BSA's largest sponsor; namely: the LDS Church and its collective members. One might logically think that would at least merit mention in an article specifically relating to BSA donations. Nevertheless, the LDS Church readily admits the fact that (much like themselves no doubt), the BSA's top leaders are "well paid," according to the Deseret News in a November 2007 article: http://www.deseretnews.com/article/695226688/Scouts-may-be-thrifty-but-some-leaders-are-well-paid.html?pg=all I suppose we could say 6- (and in some instances) 7-figure salaries constitute being "well paid." In light of LDS sponsorship and considering its possible loss should BSA leaders decide not to allow gays in scouting this coming May, it doesn't seem likely that BSA leaders will decide to jeopardize their "well paid" salaries over that issue or they would have already made that decision last February. One would logically think that BSA executives with their 6-figure incomes shouldn't need to resort to delays ostensibly to conduct public polls to help effect their management process. Or have those conscienceless stipendiaries become so far removed from their true humanity that they are unable to see gays as their human equals in every respect? Their upcoming decision is now long past due, but so is the cause of equal human rights. Until they learn to become "as a little child" (Luke 18:17), rather than sending their children begging door-to-door to maintain their top leaders in luxury and opulence, please don't knock on mine!

I don't kno why we donator to the boy scouts. I think the scouting program isv great. However our donations are paying a $350,000 salary to the head guy and several salaries over $150,000. So why would I donate money to pay someone such an outrageous amount of money?
