SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The body of a woman was found behind a building in Salt Lake City Monday afternoon.

Eva Montanez, 45, was discovered by a passerby walking her dog near the area of 846 W. Emeril Ave (30 North). The body was between a shed and fence, covered in leaves, said Lt. Bryce Johnson of the Salt Lake City Police.

The investigation revealed the woman had died of an overdose in a residence and her body had been moved to this location.

Three individuals were arrested for desecration of a body, said Johnson.

Leo Maestas, Michael Montoya and Catherine Eichler were booked into jail.

Police are waiting for an autopsy report to confirm the woman actually died of an overdose.
