WEST WENDOVER, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police confirm that a body has been found in the desert west of Wendover wrapped in duct tape and plastic.

Elko County Undersheriff Doug Gailey told ABC 4 News that an initial investigation shows the body is an hispanic male.

There was speculation that the body may belong to Susan Powell who has been missing since late early December.

The body was found in Pilot Valley, about 15 miles from the Utah border near Interstate 80.
