Bank robbed in West Valley City

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - West Valley City Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man that robbed a First Utah Bank.

Just before 4pm, Monday, a male suspect walked into the First Utah Bank at 4900 West 3500 South and demanded money from a teller. The suspect then fled on foot before police arrived.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his early 20’s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build with bruising under his right eye. He was wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt, a dark colored zipper hoodie and a white ball cap.

Anyone with information about the robbery or who recognizes the suspect is asked to contact the West Valley City Police Department at (801) 840-4000.
