BYU student injured in hit-and-run crash

PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say a 22-year-old byu student was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Provo on Wednesday.
According to police, the female BYU student was crossing the intersection at 300 East 500 North on foot.
Police say the victim was crossing the road legally and was struck by a dark blue BMW SUV that was westbound on 500 North.
After hitting the victim, Police say the driver of the SUV pulled over, paused for a moment and then sped away without rendering aid.
Police say the victim suffered a fracture to her skull and was in stable condition at a local hospital.
According to police, the dark blue BMW SUV suffered significant front end damage and left debris at the scene.
