Crimes like this will be solved sooner when Utah starts collecting DNA on felony arrest. 21 states and the federal government already have this legislation in place. It saves lives and prevents many crimes by catching criminals earlier in their careers. It saves investigation time, prosecution time and court time. It will prevent many cases from growing cold. It will protect the innocent and keep the innocent out of jail. Contact your lawmakers and let them know that you support collection of DNA on felony arrest. Let's balance the scales of justice. Let's do what is right.
