Aggravated assault victim dies, Police seach for the suspect

ST. GEORGE, Utah (ABC 4 News) – The victim of an aggravated assault in St. George has died.

Police says the victim, Jeramy Shawn Olsen died at University Medical Center in Las Vegas from injuries he sustained during an assault.

St. George Police are looking for the man accused in an aggravated assault, Mario Lucero.

Police responded to the 1000 North block of 1340 West for an assault call, Saturday.

Police says Lucero assaulted Olsen, causing significant injury to Olsen’s head.

Lucero fled the scene prior to police being notified of the assault.

Lucero is wanted for questioning in the assault and police have a warrant for his arrest.

Lucero is 5’6”, 170 pounds; he has brown hair and brown eyes, and multiple tattoos. He should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.

I was staying with my cousins right next door from S.L.C when this happend. Took some photos when the police were there.
