86 year old woman killed in auto-pedestrian accident

OGDEN, Utah (ABC 4 News) An elderly woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday morning. The accident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. near Pierce Ave. and 27th St. in Ogden.
A 74 year old woman was backing out of her driveway when the 86-year-old was walking by on the sidewalk. The woman was struck and severely injured. Emergency workers were called and she was taken to Mckay-Dee Hospital. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police are still investigating the incident, but are confident that no charges will be pressed.
