In regards to the comments insinuating "violent video games" were/could be behind this murder: I implore you to do a simple and easy (and quick) bit of research for this kid on Facebook. You would then see that on the exact date of the murder at around 1:30pm -which is right before the police received the 911 call- he was on Facebook playing friggin' poker. Poker. So you're trying to say that poker causes people to slash open their grandma like a prized buck?? Rrrrright. Try again.

Take him out back and shoot. An eye for an eye makes the world go blind and all that crap. Who cares? He doesn't deserve another breath of air.

Violent video games have nothing to do with what happened here. I, and many people that I know, have played violent video games and love horror movies but would never even consider murdering another person. I think it is more to do with the character of the person than what they watch, listen to, or what video games they play. Lets stop trying to place blame on something other than who deserves it. In this case the man who murdered this poor women. He was 21, not a child anymore, by far old enough to be able to know what is right and wrong.

For sure...he must have thought he could inherit after she was gone. Somehow, I think that only applies when you're NOT the killer. So sad for this family. My condolences to them.
