3 elves stolen from Gardner Village

WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) -Who would steal Santa's helpers? It's the question on the minds of many shoppers Wednesday at Gardner Village. Someone stole three of the elves that decorate the area every Christmas.

The elves disappeared sometime Saturday night to Monday morning. The caretaker told ABC 4 she was cleaning up after the weekend wind storm when she found the three elves missing.

While the elves are beloved by Gardner Village and a Christmas tradition for the community,
they are also expensive and one of a kind.

“They were made for Gardner Village and there is no other mold out there that is that particular elf,” said Careen Densley, elf caretaker.
