OREM, Utah (AP) - A judge has set $1 million cash bail for an Orem man arrested in the fatal shooting of his brother-in-law.

Fourth District Judge Samuel McVey on Monday also ordered 54-year-old Stephen Edward Strate to surrender his passport if he bails out.

Police say 51-year-old Marvin Sidwell died Sunday after he was shot multiple times. Strate was booked into the Utah County Jail on Sunday on suspicion of murder. The Daily Herald in Provo reported on its Web site Monday that he has not been formally charged.

Police said Strate and Sidwell were in an argument Sunday at an Orem home before the shooting.
