19 year old Asha Davenport died at the Canyons Ski Resort, Saturday afternoon. Police said she was riding a ski lift with her friends when she suffered a seizure and fell approximately 30 feet to the ground below.

Davenport moved from Idaho Falls to Salt Lake City to go to U of U just a few months ago. She joined the Pi Beta Phi sorority in the fall.  Her sisters say she had an electric smile, and an amazing spirit.

“I feel like she was that girl that everyone just loved. She had that spark about her,” said chapter president, Erica Glende.

Davenport was a new member of the sorority, but friends say her energy could not be ignored.

“She was very positive, had a great sense of humor, she was a very strong asset to our house. She would have done really well and we were so lucky and glad to have her in our house,” Glende said.

Support for Davenport is also pouring out all over the web. Her picture is now the profile on Pi Phi’s Facebook page, her sisters left the comment:

“Even though it’s hard to be strong, it becomes a little easier with the support of such an amazing community. There are no words to express how thankful we are for your kindness. This angel will never be forgotten."

Another one of Davenport's friends wrote an emotional plea on Tumblr, saying:

"I wish you could come down and give me a hug, because I really need one. I feel so helpless, like there was something I could have done."

And on Twitter, @hannah_loves wrote to Asha:

"Tears are god’s gifts to us. Our holy water. They heal us as they flow."

It's obvious in her short 19 years on this earth; Asha Davenport made an overwhelming impact.

“She was just an amazing girl,” Glende said.
