PARK CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say over 16 pounds of marijuana was recovered during a routine traffic stop on Thursday.

The Park City Police Department and the Summit County Sheriff's Office were working along Interstate 80 when they stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation.

During the stop, police say a sheriff's office dog sniffed around the vehicle, and after a search, 14 plastic bags believed to be filled marijuana were found.

The driver and passenger were both booked into the Summit County Jail.
