RSL's Andy Williams announces retirement

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Sports) - Andy Williams, Real Salt Lake's last original player, announced that he will retire today on ESPN 700's Bill and Spence show.
“It’s been amazing,” said Williams when asked about his seven years with RSL. "It was great to be a part of what I think is the best team in the league the last three years."
Real Salt Lake's first pick in the 2004 MLS Expansion Draft scored 14 goals and added 29 assists in 189 career games with the team. He has a total of 30 goals and 86 assists in his 14-year career.
He became the first player in MLS history to play for six teams.
