SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Sports) - The Utah Jazz do not have a first round pick in this year's NBA Draft.
After Wednesday's draft lottery, the Golden State Warriors remain in the 7th spot, and will not have to forfeit their draft pick to the Jazz. Had the Warriors fallen to the 8th spot or lower, the Jazz would have received their pick. The Jazz had a 28 percent chance of getting Golden State's pick.
The Jazz still have rights to Golden State's first round draft pick in the future, but it is now top-7 protected in 2013 and top-6 protected in 2014. The Jazz acquired the pick in the Deron Williams trade.
As of now, the Jazz do own a second round pick in 2012, the 47th overall selection.
