SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Sports) - After getting crushed in the first game of the 3A championship series, Bear River battled back in the 2nd game and beat Spanish Fork 8-0 to claim its 5th-straight state title.

In game one of the double elimination tournament, the Dons humiliated the Bears, winning 16-0.

Game two was a different story, though. For both teams.

The Bears scored seven runs in the first inning while Jordan Theurer was solid on the mound, twice pitching her team out of bases-loaded jams. The win also helped the Bears set a state record for most consecutive state championships.
