PROVO, Utah (ABC-4 Sports) - The BYU football team has been stewing since getting blown out at home against TCU 38-7 back on October 24th. Coming off a bye week, the Cougars finally get back on the field this Saturday against Wyoming.
Senior defensive end Jan Jorgensen feels the Cougars have had enough time to regain their confidence and to correct their problems. "After a game like TCU, it's easy to get down on yourself to lose the way we did, and it was nice to get in the film room and to see the things that are wrong really aren't that drastic."
Running back Monase Tonga agrees. "Until we play this Saturday, we'll get a really good feel about how we feel," said Tonga. "But after this bye week, the guys are having fun, having fun and getting healthy."
Head coach Bronco Mendenhall said the Cougars are as healthy as they've been since the beginning of the season. Wide receiver McKay Jacobson, who missed the last four game with a hamstring injury, is expected to play.
Kickoff this Saturday in Laramie is set for 12:00 p.m.
