It's the Holiday season.  And though that might mean different things to different people, at Calvary Baptist Church there is always a Christmas message angled to what the people need at the time.  Reverend France Davis goes On the Record to talk about how he and his congregation make life better for the less fortunate this holiday season.

"I suggest to people that inspite of hard times, that life can be good," Reverend Davis says.  "On of the riches that has nothing to do with money is your attitude."

"I think people do turn to religion when they have no place left to turn."  Whether that is in times of war, economic crisis, Reverend Davis says people are trying to balance their lives.  While we plan of something one way, often it happens another.

But in these hard times, there are easy ways to cope.

"We call it make do," Davis says.  "Make do is taking just a little bit," and making it cover a large space.  "One of the riches that has nothing to do with money is your attitude."
