Winter storm blankets northern Utah with massive totals

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A strong winter storm brought impressive snow totals to northern Utah over the weekend.

As of Sunday morning at 9 a.m., some areas, like the Bountiful bench and Cottonwood Heights, received over 25 inches of snow. Others, like North Salt Lake, Sandy, Fruit Heights and South Ogden received a foot or more, according to the National Weather Service.

Interesting, since the south end of the valley near the Point of the Mountain only got a couple of inches, at most. Happy shoveling. :) But it's still colder than a step-mother's kiss outside, so it ain't all that happy, I suppose. :)
