Emigration Canyon (ABC4-News) House Bill 80 has been almost a year in the making. Representative Lorie Fowlke and other legislators hvae crafted this "compromise" bill that would be more specific in allowing public use of private streambeds for fishing and recreation. There was a rally at the Capital today in support of the bill. Not only did the fishing community show up, but other recreationalists such as kayakers who had specific waterways in mind.

Our meteorologist Todd Gross reported on the story from Emigration Canyon where he gave an example of a private waterway that held a treasure of fishing possibilities including the (protected) species: Cuthroat Bonneville Trout.
