Possible avalanche east of Kamas

HEBER CITY, UTAH (ABC 4 News) – Two children were taken to a hospital after getting caught in a possible avalanche.

About 4 p.m. Friday, Wasatch 911 received a call about a possible avalanche in the West Fork of the Duchesne and that two victims may have been trapped.

Search and Rescue teams from Summit and Wasatch counties responded. Also, two AirMed helicopters responded to assist in locating and treating the victims.

The two victims were transported to Primary Children’s Medical Center, their conditions are unknown.
