Marti Skold: Summer Fun on GTU

   When the weather is hot or stormy like the past few days, many moms are looking for some fun indoor activies for the kids.  And when holidays like the 4th of July roll around, fun family activies are a great way to keep everyone involved.  This past week on Good Things Utah we have had a number of segments that will keep you busy and keep your kids having a safe and fun 4th of July and summer.  We made a safe sparkler kit, it includes a place to store them away from little hands, a way to light them to keep kids from getting burned and a safe circle to make to show little ones.  The directions are on our Good Things Utah website and there is a video to show you how to make it as well.  Also, yesterday we made homemade chalk and bubble blowers.  These are both fun to keep the kids busy making their chalk on a rainy day, then taking outside and using it on a sunny day.
