PROVO, Utah (AP) - Police in Utah say they've arrested a 28-year-old man who used a stun gun to escape during a robbery in Provo.
The Daily Herald reports that Wesley Byington was found hiding in a closet at an apartment in Orem, and that police recovered a Taser believed to have been used in the robbery.
Byington is accused of taking merchandise from a Gen-X store on North State Street in Provo about 9 p.m. Thursday.
According to Provo police, Byington used a small stun gun to force his way past two store employees just outside the store.
Police say a female customer near the front door also was injured.
Byington being held at the Utah County Jail on robbery and assault charges, as well as several outstanding warrants.
