SANDY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - The Dark Knight Rises brought out dozens of fans for the epic conclusion of the trilogy on Thursday at Larry H. Miller Megaplex in Sandy.

Many lucky fans were able to watch the movie before its official release at midnight.

"Just be prepared for a lot of action," Rob Jones said. "It's a good story. It doesn't let you down."

People wearing Batman costumes paraded around the movie theater lobby hours before the showings. People said this is the most anticipated movie of the Dark Knight Trilogy.

"I"m more of a Marvel fan myself, but looking down on DC Comics, this was by far the best Batman movie hands down," Mike Payne said.

Most midnight showings across Utah were sold out. The theater was forced to open a 3:30 a.m. showing to accommodate the demand.

The movie is expected to shatter box office records this weekend.
