It wouldn't be true Oscar coverage if we didn't talk about the fashions. Long glamorous gowns were all the rage this year, and the usual best dressed list didn't disappoint. The blogs were all a buzz over Michelle Williams' elegant red gown. Jennifer Lopez flaunted her curves in a sparkly number. And Angelina Jolie strutted the carpet in a black gown with a slit up to here.
Tony Toscano, our resident movie critic helped us break down the hits and misses. As he points out, the misses were more unusual, than bad, starting with Emma stone.
"Now this sounds a little catty, but Emma stone looked like a present that nobody wanted to open,” Toscano said.
His only real issue with the dress was the big bow on the shoulder. Toscano’s other fashion miss, America’s sweetheart, Sandra Bullock. He said the top of the dress was unflattering.

Women left the necklaces and bling at home opting for simple touches like chandelier earrings and bracelets with a small clutch. And the hair, pony tails, and a side swept do.
