OREM, Utah (ABC 4 News) - 44-year-old Jennifer Brackenbury was found dead of multiple stab wounds in her Orem trailer.
Orem police received a call around noon on Friday from police in Yakima, Washington notifying them of a homicide in trailer 52 of the Timpanogos Village Mobile Home Park. Brackenbury's boyfriend, 43-year-old Steven J. Gray, told police in Yakima about the murder.
Police tell ABC 4 News that Gray is from Washington.
Brackenbury's body was found in the back of the trailer. Police believe she was killed sometime between last Saturday and Tuesday. She was living with Gray at the time.
Gray is behind bars in Yakima. Orem police will send two detectives there on Sunday to interview Gray and find out why he would have killed his girlfriend before driving to Washington.
Neither Gray nor Brackenbury have a criminal record.
