MAGNA, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Katherine Petric does not know what happened to her little sister, Lark Montague, who has been missing for five years.
Petric told ABC4 News, "She came over to my house that night, we sat on the front porch and visited."
That was September 21st 2007, the last time Petric saw her sister. Lark went home and a while later left a very strange message on her sister's voice mail. The voice mail only said, "This is Lark, I'm hitting the road by myself."
Petric said, "It sounded like she was reading a script or something the way she put it on the voice mail and I haven't seen her since 6:20 on that night."
Petric said she has not done any interviews since her sister disappeared; it was too hard to talk about. But now she is talking now to ABC4 news on the fifth anniversary of her sister's disappearance, desperate for help and answers.
Petric told ABC4, "I want closure with my sister, If anyone can help me with that, I just want to bring her home."
There are more questions than answers to what happened to Lark Montague. According to investigators and Lark's husband the night she disappeared Lark went to a friend's house where she reportedly stayed until after midnight. She had been drinking. When she decided to go home, a friend followed her home to make sure she arrived safely. That friend would later tell police detectives that as he drove away, he noticed something strange. Driving her 2002 Chevrolet Blazer she pulled back out of the driveway. That was the last time she was at her home.
There have been a few sightings of Lark through out the Valley, but nothing panned out.
Lark and her car just disappeared.
Lark's older sister believes she is gone.
Petric said, "I don't feel like she is with us."
