Washington City man accused of murdering wife

WASHINGTON CITY, UTAH (ABC 4 News) - Police say 76-year-old Dave Benson has been arrested and booked into Washington County Jail on suspicion of 1st degree murder charges for the death of his wife.
According to Washington City Police, a call was received Wednesday morning at 8:46. The call regarded a possible death in the Pine View Estates subdivision.
When police arrived arrived they found Mr. Benson's wife dead.
Investigators said appears that the death was caused blunt force trauma, although an investigation would continue to pinpoint the exact cause.
